I have spent the last 30 years working with John Sadler my partner in Mountain River AB. Prior to that I had an Ecological deer farm totally integrated with a slaughterhouse and was supplying the local market “ Venison farm to Plate”.

I have also contributed to New Zealand deer farming's breeding program by exporting Hungarian breeding Hinds and Stags to improve the genetic balance of New Zealand Red deer stock.

The biological diversity in our nature has always been a priority for me. My work with Mountain River is very much aligned with my thoughts of biodiversity in order to protect the planet and at the same time produce meat that meets up to the standard of high quality; lean, nutritious and tender, by farming in a regenerative way.
